K. Manikandan is the Director and Founder of Maiden Line Maritime Services, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience across every dimension of the maritime industry. He began his career with formal Nautical Studies in Glasgow, Scotland, going on to sail as a 3rd Officer in the Merchant Navy across international waters. His professional journey carried him through Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore and into specialised roles as a Draft Surveyor with Ericsson & Richards, alongside extensive work in ISO Tank operations. Drawing on this deep, ground-level knowledge of vessels and cargo, he has built a particular expertise in ship handling, ISO Tank logistics, HAZMAT cargo, vessel operations, and maritime agency — the foundation on which Maiden Line was established and continues to grow.

Akshaya Shana serves as Director and Head of Operations, combining a strong academic foundation with a diverse, accomplished professional background. A Gold Medalist with a Master's in Public Relations, she brings considerable strength in strategic communication, operational leadership, and business development. Her career spans roles as Operations Head at Shana Global Traders, Digital Marketing Manager at Adyar Sports, and Corporate Communications at Air India, where she received the Best Intern Award. As Vice Principal of Gateway International School she earned the Best Teacher Award for five consecutive years along with the Best Humanitarian Award, and she has also worked as an Educator at the American International School and as Operations Head at The Prawn Company in international seafood export. At Maiden Line, she co-founded M-Line Maritime Services with a focus on trailer operations and port-to-warehouse logistics, evolving the business into Maiden Line Maritime Services Pvt. Ltd. Today she oversees strategic planning, logistics execution, operational management, and business development, and is an active member of the Good Deeds Club.
